Collateral Certification Program is by far and away the ultimate
tool for owners of investigation and recovery companies. At this

a home study/correspondence curriculum.
I have carefully reviewed the educational materials you submitted
for our approval. The Florida edition of the Certified Asset Recovery
Specialist (C.A.R.S.®) instructional materials meets or exceeds all
recovery agent training requirements specified in Chapter 493, Florida
Statutes, or Rule 1C-3, 140, Florida Administrative Code. The Division
hereby approves those materials and grants its approval for you
to teach the recovery agent correspondence course….

Mr. and Mrs. Taylor,
I am not one to endorse a product and cannot remember the last
time I did!!! Today I finished my studies on the C.A.R.S.® course.
It is incredible the information that is contained within the pages
of this course. After 16 years in the industry I thought I knew
it all. I was wrong! Mr. Taylor, I tip my hat to you and your wife
Elizabeth for the work that you have done on this course. I strongly
believe that this course should be MANDATORY for anyone doing business
in our industry. Effective immediately every one of our agents and
investigators will be required to study and pass this course prior
to May 15th, 2003 in order to stay employed by our agency. If you
ask me, your course is under priced for the knowledge that you supply.
I will see you at the TFA Convention in Dallas in a few days.

Joe,
Just a short note to say thanks for the training. 2 years ago,
I started working at a recovery agency in Florida and took your
course.
Here in Arizona, there's no real prerequisites for working in the
industry. Lack of regulation is really apparent when you see some
of the nutty stuff the guys at the fly-by night agencies will do.
I showed up here knowing better.
Having the certification also helped in job interviews, although
it actually worked against me at one place, as the owner wanted
to know if I was one of those "by the rules guys." I didn't like
the sound of that, and we wrapped up the interview pretty quickly
after that. I'd hate to be his insurance man…
Anyway, your training kept me honest and safe until experience
had a chance to catch up. I learn something new every day, and I
appreciate the foundation that I started with.
I ended up with a fantastic agency, and truly look forward to
going in every day (and night) Once again, thanks.
I have not forgotten my first duty, and I have no beef with the
man in the glass.

Not true. Great course. Major Forwarders should only use C.A.R.S.®
agents primarily for their own protection.
